Excellent opportunity to join an international market leader in the engineering industry. Suppliers and service providers for motors, gear units and automation technology to NZ and the World.
Other tasks:
· Book in units – computer
· Understand repairs procedures
· Operate repairs testing systems
· Entry level disassembly of gear boxes
· Entry level assembly of gear boxes
· Basic Fault finding
· Basic repairs and reporting
· Liaise with parts, service and clients when required.
There is no room for error so we are seeking someone who is quality focused, who has the ability to work in a safe way but at pace to meet production deadlines and targets. You must be able to use a computer for some reporting and be adaptable, flexible and highly reliable.
Ideally you will have some previous hands-on experience working in a technical or mechanical field and must be comfortable using pneumatic tools and hand tools like drills and rivet guns, air washes, pressure washes, greasing guns etc…
A fork hoist license would be advantageous but not essential.
