The Company:

A highly successful privately owned New Zealand business. With combined experience of over 25 years in the stone industry. The company specialises in the production and installation of engineered stone bench-tops. By using the latest digital templating technology which allows the company to obtain accurate measurements for your benchtop.

The role:

As a result of phenomenal growth our client is seeking to appoint a suitably experienced person as a template/CAD designer.

Your key task will be to visit clients (95% residential) and have a discussion with owners/architects or builders to understand their requirement. The to measure the bench top area.

Use CAD to design the benchtop templates ready for cutting. You will be responsible for accuracy and quality checks and act as the liaison between the client, production and installers.

About you:

If you have previous experience within the benchtop or cabinet making or kitchen industry – that would be ideal. We would also consider applicants who possess heavy industry/Industrial experience. Must be competent with CAD. Qualifications are not essential, rather the right experience and attitude is what we are seeking.

You must also have the ability to work systematically and highly accurately. Presentation and immaculate communication is also critical. We are looking for someone with polish and prowess as the right candidate will have the opportunity to be groomed into a management – senior management type role.
